About Me.
Cristina Ortega is a Miami native with Cuban and Honduran descent. She is a recent graduate from New World School of the Arts where she obtained her BFA in Theatre. Cristina is an up and coming Playwright and Actress whose recent credits include Elian from Miami New Drama and her very own original play "Isolation" at Main Street Players Theatre. Cristina hopes to shine a light on underrepresented voices with each story she wants to tell and bring importance to current real world issues.

Cristina is currently pursuing a Master's in Business Administration with an emphasis on Leadership at Florida International University. She is currently learning, leadership, negotiation, finance skills as well as many others within the program.

Cristina holds a BFA in theatre with New world School of the Arts associated with the University of Florida. She has gotten immense training learning, Shakespeare, Improve, Voice and Movement, Acting, and even Playwriting within this program.

Isolation is a two act original play that follows two women who are enduring the seclusion of solitary confinement as they begin to form a bond with one another.
